Our Innovative Research on Aging Awards recognizes recent applied research that offers important implications for the senior living and aging services industries. Created to inspire the next practices, the annual award honors groups and individuals for their research that can make a difference in the lives of older adults. From a refreshing perspective on older adults’ sleep disruptions to using art lessons to boost healthy cognitive aging, this report highlights the fourteen 2026 recipients and honorable mentions and illustrates how their insights can be implemented.
